I’m Aya, a London-based art director with a strong foundation in graphic design and visual communication. With a BA in Visual Communication and an MA in Design for Art Direction,I specialize in combining striking visuals with emotional storytelling across film, music, and branding.
My passion for music made me realise how amazing it is to translate music into visuals which evoke feelings so artists and audiences could establish better communication and built better relationship.
I directed the music videos Forbidden Love and Carmine Love, exploring themes of healing, vulnerability, and empowerment through choreography, set design, and narrative structure.
I also assisted on the dance short, helping bring movement and space into visual harmony.
Beyond film, I’ve worked as a graphic designer. My practice bridges direction, design, and concept development turning emotion into impactful, multi-layered visuals.
